SUPERMAN ACTION FIGURES
“Make your kids happy – let them naturally develop creativity, a sense of wonder, the values of justice, and the desire for the triumph of good over evil!”
“Have a Superman proudly satnding in your office, reminding you of your own powers…”
SUPERMAN – NOT JUST AN ACTION FIGURE
Superman action figure is one of the most iconic item in the toys department. Together with other superheroes such as Spiderman and Batman, it represents a quest for justice and peace in the world. And perhaps, this is why children all over the world, and adults, too, so often like to enjoy their dream fantasies with these toys. Superman is a cultural icon.
Superman (and Superman action figures), however, stand for so much more. Think, for a moment, back in time, and imagine just how often and in what places you came across the reference to Superman. The first Superman appearance was back in 1938 as a comic book character – all in the famous red and blue outfit, with a cape, and the ever-so-famous stylized S-shield on the chest. From there Clark Kent found his way through countless comic books deep into the hearts of all would-like-to-be superheroes and stole the fantasies of children from all over the world.

- Superman – A cultural icon.
There is something very special about it. Starting with every child’s obvious knowledge of the character, through our daily encounters – in music, movies (…comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his obsession with the figure – it is commonly believed there is a Superman action figure in every single Seinfeld episode!) – to the incorporation in our language (I’m not a Superman!), Superman has simply become a part of our lives and our hearts. The big S has over time grown into an expression for the human desire for wellness, happiness, justice, and the victory of good against the evil.
There is yet another side of Superman – being from another planet – Superman represents not only the deep human desire to look towards the stars and wonder what secrets the Universe holds, but also puts humanity into a self-reflective mode from outside – Who are we, and why are we here? Are we alone? And this makes people wonder about the evil of the world – why do we have wars, why is there hatred, if we are all on one beautiful planet?
For children, having a Superman action figure can very early and powerfully install the moral values, the distinctions between good and evil – and the desire for the good, but also intelligence and creativity. Superman has so deeply positively penetrated our society that our daily encounters with the character can trigger our early childhood memories and subconsciously lead us to a life of purity, heroism, morality, but also gentleness and love.
And that is all we are really trying to say – Superman is much more than just a star character – he is a deep part of humanity – and on our website, we would like to remind you of this deep part, as he returns, to you, as a Superman action figure.
